Introduction to Me....

Hi! My name is Alethia Hudson. Many of you may know me as the creator of Sew Much Talent, Mesewlot, and a third of the admins for the Pericrafters group on Facebook. But, first and foremost, I'm a wife of 27 years, a mother of two handsome men, a mother-in-love, and soon to be a grandmother (smiling). Believe it or not, I'm also a Mary Kay Beauty Consultant ( 8 years in). And, NO, I do not drive a pink caddy, LOL! However, what I'm most fond of, and take much pride in is my profession as a custom clothier and expert alteration specialists. I specialize in bridal wear and formal wear. I have had the great opportunity to create wedding gowns, prom gowns, cocktail wear, social /debutante gowns, black tie wear, even christening gowns for the wee ones. I continue to create and custom fit beautiful gowns, church wear, and day wear for the female of any age, and occasionally, I will create a piece or two for the male gender, all under the guise of AYH Designs. 

So, here as Sew Alethia,  I will mainly focus on the business side of me. But, along with my bizcapades, I will be sharing my service to the community as Sew Much Talent volunteers with The Lydia Project ( www.thelydiaproject.org ). Also, I'll take you into my classroom setting as I share sewing skills with those willing to learn.
