SMT's Ugly Sock Christmas Party!!

I know, I know, it's been a looooooong time since I even posted here. Well, that's about to change in 2021. I won't go into all the details now, but this has been one fascinating year, full of ups and downs; full of challenges. So much to talk about. Instead, I'll save that for another blog. For right now, I want to share with you the news of our last community gathering for the year, I think 😊.
On December 19th, we will have our first, hopefully not last, Ugly Sock Christmas Party. We will gather together on Zoom for our virtual party.  The idea came as I was doing a random Facebook Live and sharing my first experience making the GreenPepper Polar Socks pattern (#504), which was gifted to me by Mina McGrady. You can see that video HERE. I know many of you probably have already created these socks. But, it's all in fun, right. We've done the ugly sweater thing every year. Now some of you are creating ugly masks. That's right, ugly mask. We might even do that one, too, who knows. For now, we are doing ugly socks. You do not need a special invite to join the party, consider this your invite. Just click here for access, SMT Ugly Sock Christmas
Party  Before the party, be sure to download the Zoom App so your access will not be delayed, or go directly to the website to log in ( Zoom .us) and use the ID #84826112273. You will need to get this Green Pepper Polar Sock Pattern (504) prior to the party. This style is not mandatory. If you have another sock pattern that you would like to use, that's okay too. REMEMBER, the goal is to create the ugliest sock. So, think outside the box and bring whatever else you need to bring the ugly outta your sock, okaay, LOL!  The more the merrier, so please be sure to share this out to all of your social media sites. And, when the party is over, go on over to Instagram and post pictures of your socks. Don't forget to use the hashtag #sewmuchtalent .  As a matter of fact, while you are there, visit the Sew Much Talent page and follow.
In the meantime, drop a comment below and let us know what you are doing for Christmas cheer despite Corrupt Rona's impeding behavior.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!

  1. FYI, a little elf told me that Ellie and Mac has sock pattern that's similar to the Green Pepper Polar Sock pattern (#504). This one is a PDF. So, if you don't have your sock pattern, it's not too late.
